Imperial Stormtrooper - Sith Non-Force User Advanced Path
Imperial Stormtrooper: Stormtroopers were the elite soldiers of the Galactic Empire. Like Imperial-class Star Destroyers and TIE fighters, stormtroopers served as ever present reminders of the absolute power of Emperor Palpatine. These faceless enforcers of the New Order were considered an extension of the Emperor's will, and thus they often used brutal tactics as a way to keep thousands of star systems throughout the galaxy in line. At the height of the Empire, stormtroopers had effectively become symbols of brutality and terror. With few exceptions, they were distinguished from all other military units by their signature white armor.
The Imperial stormtroopers were the evolution of the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic. By the end of the Clone Wars in 19 BBY, the Galactic Republic was reorganized into the first Galactic Empire. As a result, the Grand Army was reformed into the Stormtrooper Corps, thus renaming all clone troopers as "stormtroopers." Under the Empire, stormtroopers operated alongside Imperial Army and Navy units, while some placed on Naval ships were given the title "marines." Although stormtroopers served under Stormtrooper Command, a military agency that was independent from Imperial High Command, all stormtroopers ultimately answered to Emperor Palpatine with unconditional loyalty and subservience.
Members of the Rebel Alliance SpecForce had several terms for stormtroopers, including whitehats, plastic soldiers and snowmen. Other slang terms for stormtroopers were the "Boys in White" and "Plastic Boys." Also, another term was "Stormies," which was often used by Wedge Antilles and Corran Horn.
Although the deaths of both Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader in 4 ABY caused the collapse and fragmentation of the original Galactic Empire, stormtroopers were retained as elite soldiers under several succeeding states. The Stormtroopers have risen again under the new Sith Emperor, Lucifer and serve him just as loyally.
Special Abilities:
Assault Weapon Training: At level five the Imperial Stormtrooper learns to fight with the traditional weapons of the Empire. If the Stormtrooper is already trained with Blaster Rifles then he gains a rank in Blaster Pistols, if he isn't already able to use a Blaster Rifle then he learns to use one and gains a rank in the Precision Combat Form.
Force Terrorist, Fearmonger, and Dreadlord: The Stormtrooper is specially trained to fight the Sith’s ancient enemy, the Jedi and recently also the Jensaarai. At level six the Stormtrooper is known as a Force Terrorist and any damage he does against a Jedi or Jensaarai is one and half times the usual amount. At level ten he becomes a Force Fearmonger and the damage multiplier against Jedi or Jensaarai is increased to two times. Finally, at level thirteen, the Stormtrooper becomes a Force Dreadlord; any damage he does against a Jedi or Jensaarai is increased to two and a half times the normal amount.
Weapon Focus: At seventh level the Stormtrooper gains the Weapon Focus perk. He gets to choose the weapon.
Dodge: At level eight the Stormtrooper gains the Dodge perk even if he doesn’t meet the prerequisites. Should the Vanguard already possess the Dodge perk then he may take another combat-oriented perk of his choice.
Martial Arts: At ninth level the Stormtrooper gains the Martial Arts perk. If he already possesses this perk then he may choose a different combat-oriented one instead.
Elite Soldier: At eleventh level the Stormtrooper chooses a specific type of military unit (infantry, cavalry, marine, grenadier, etc.) that he has been trained to be part of. When fighting in this sort of group he fights more effectively than normal.
Combat Mastery: At level twelve the Stormtrooper gains a rank in the Combat Form of his choice.
Elite Squad Leader: The many battles the Stormtrooper has fought in have taught him how to effectively lead a unit in combat. When in a unit of the same type as his Elite Soldier ability the others in the squad receive the same benefits as the Vanguard does from Elite Soldier.
