Kerberos had met Shepard once before. He listened as the two Jedi spoke. Then he walked over and put out his hand to the male Jedi. Good to see you too Shepard he said. He grined. What coulda have happened to the Emperor do ya think? Could they have crashed?

Serean was going over his data, ” uncertain, there was no mayday call, no debris field anywhere in this sector according to our scouts. They could've had mechanical issues and landed somewhere, but where exactly I can't be certain i'm afraid.” A padawan enters the room and bows before everyone. ” please excuse my interruption masters but the chancellor of the GA has arrived.” Serean thanked the padawan and he bowed and exited the room. ” I'll greet the chancellor and escort him here, then we must decide what to do, just as a precaution so the sith don't think we killed the emperor and his party.” Serean bowed and left the room to meet the chancellor.

The emperor paced back and forth waiting on word about his ship. Krill came out. ” i'm sorry master some how the engine mixture was imbalanced which caused a bad reaction with the intercooler.” The emperor stared at krill. ” and what about our communications. ” uncertain master we could've burned up our antenna array. I was mostly focused on getting the engines back online.” The emperor sighed. ” krill do you take me for a fool. I know there is nothing wrong with the ship, well nothing a few adjustments won't fix. So this is where you plan to take the empire away from me huh.” The emperor removed his lightsaber from his belt but didn't ignite it.

Krill stopped in his tracks as the emperor caught on, he had to try to buy some time but krill decided against it. ” thought it would be better off our home territory. Didn't want people that was loyal to you and me killing each other in our own back yard. Once I take over they would have to accept it or challenge me and fall at my feet.”

The emperor finally ignited his lightsaber. ” well my apprentice i'm still standing, and I don't plan on falling to you or anyone. The empire is mine and till the day I die of something bedsides this betrayal. Don't forget Cameron I trained you with everything I know but I am still the master.” Krill removed his cloak ” that was your mistake, I know you taught me all you know, but I also learned other things.” Krill leaped up in the air, the emperor swung high at krill but missed, krill landed behind the emperor, as the emperor placed his lightsaber behind his back to block a blow but was shocked to see the ground coming at his face. Once krill landed behind the emperor krill kicked the back of his knees causing him to lose balance and fall on his face.

Krill stood there as he watched the emperor rise to his feet and dust off his clothes. ” impressive my old apprentice, such tactics, I never thought you had that in you.” The emperor said. ” oh believe me master there's more to come shame you will only see a few more before you die” the two locked lightsabers, using blows and counter attacks. Neither one gaining any real ground over the other.

[Supreme Prophet Migneau]

Supreme Prophet Migneau bounded through the forests of Endor in cat form her paws leaving no trace behind. She had long learned before making the change to strap a small bag to her back. Like a shadow she passed the trees. Before her she heard the speeders land. The assassination squad spread out as they approached the Emperor's downed vessel.

Her acute hearing picked up the sound of combat inside the ship and with a growl slid forward. Royal Guardsmen were headed for the ship, apparently caught by surprise at the hissing sounds as lightsabers ignited. Elliandre knew at least for now her job would be to distract the Emperor's protectors. She leapt at one with a stupendous roar, ripping out his throat with one mighty claw swipe. The other assassins entered the fray doing battle with the contingent of Guardsmen.

She reached towards the ship with her mind, could feel the rage within the Emperor at the betrayal. The Supreme Prophet could feel Krill, resolute as he fought the Emperor. A guard fired at her with a blaster, barely missing her head.

Elliandre disappeared into the trees, the time for stealth was over. Quickly she changed form and threw the robe the small bag carried over her head and took the lightsaber from the sack. She lowered the hood to conceal her face. Now in near-human form she entered the fight as the mighty Sith warrior that she was. Some of the guardsmen were force-sensitive and Lor and the others were having trouble dealing with them. Many defenders had fallen to their hand but others remained fighting desperately to reach the Emperor.

Ellie her face hard and fell used Force Push on one guard who flew backwards slamming into a knobby tree trunk. As another guard tried to ignite their lightsaber, she used Force Pull and it was torn from the black gloved hands.

Lor threw a dagger of cortosis steel which passed through a guardsman's face mask and penetrated the man's eye. He fell dead onto the forest floor. Two guards charged the Supreme Prophet and she fought hand to hand against them both. The other assassins moved to aid her, Col Zerak, fiercely loyal and also a Sith ignited his lightsaber and moved beside her, slashing at one of the two attackers.

Denobia leapt behind a guard knocking off his helmet and garroting him with a long piece of thin wire. She pulled with all her might and he gasped as the metal cut into his windpipe. Lor fought fiercely, daggers twirling and slashing. The close combat was bloody but Ellie and the assassins held against a much larger force.

She sent a message to Krill with the Force. Be swift Krill if possible. Turning she beheaded one of the two guards, his blaster pistol fell spinning to the ground as he crumpled. The battle within was Krill's a matter of honor for him she knew. Even Sith had honor. She would not interfere unless absolutely necessary. It was time for the apprentice to become the Master.

Krill was still dueling the emperor showing some moves the emperor didn't know krill had. Krill used the force to throw a huge rock at the emperor which the emperor blocked with a slash cutting it in two, but then felt a horrible burning sensation and fell to the ground, while the emperor was distracted with the rock krill sliced off his foot just below the knee. The emperor screamed in pain. ”I told you master you will fall here.” The emperor looked at krill with such anger and hate that if that alone was a weapon it would've killed krill five times over. ” i'm not finished yet. The empire is and will always be mine.” Krill round housed kicked the emperor in the face forcing him to kiss the dirt once more. ” only in your mind you will live forever, I know death is around us, i'm not foolish enough to think I can not ever die. True sith do not think this way. Only greedy wanna be kings.” Krill used the force to rip the emperors lightsaber from his hand. Then walked up closer to him. With a powerful punch aided by the force, landed across the emperors face breaking his eye socket. ” you have been beaten master accept defeat and stay down” the emperor tried getting back to his feet. ” this is my empire, my time to reign, I will never submit to you Cameron, if you ever thought I would then you aren't fit to lead.”

Krill removed his helmet. ”I never thought you would give it up, I was making sure you at least still have some type of sith teachings within you. For that you honor me. However your time has come.” The emperor stood up once more. ” it has been so long since I've seen your face other than my Chambers.” Krill saluted his soon to be former master. ”I just wanted you to see the new face of the empire, the last face you will ever see.”

The emperor tried killing krill with a shot of force lightning, krill blocked it but a single stream did catch krill on his head knocking him back a little. ”a great effort master i'm impressed, but it is too late.” Krill came at the emperor with great force. The emperor tried shooting more force lightning at krill but was blocked as krill walked up to him. Fear over took the emperor, blast after blast was blocked krill sliced up then down cutting off both arms of the emperor. He falls to his knees screaming in pain. ” now master it is finished” with one more act of the emperor spits in the face of krill. Krill smiles and wipes it off. Krill stands up and in what seemed life forever slowly pushed his lightsaber into the body of the emperor. The emperor screamed so loud it rang through krill`s ears. The emperor then closed his eyes for the last time. Krill removed his lightsaber from the former emperor`s body. Then let a force storm loose on the body to make sure he was dead. Krill put his helmet back on and called out with the force. ” it is done, come meet your new emperor.” Krill watched as his warriors came out one by one. ” today is a new day for our empire, come let me see my finest warriors.”

[Supreme Prophet Migneau]

The Supreme Prophet felt the great disturbance in the Force as the Emperor died. She knew the battle was over. She nodded at the three assassins who had done their job with great skill. She raised a hand to the remaining Royal Guard and spoke. "You have a new Emperor, one who will return us to the glory days of old when the Sith ruled the galaxy. Show loyalty to him and all will be well. Show disloyalty and death awaits you. Decide swftly for he awaits our oath of fealty."

Elliandre turned and headed towards the new Emperor who waited for them to approach. The three assassins followed her and as one laid their weapons at the new Emperor's feet. Elliandre bowed low before Krill. "All hail the new Emperor of the Sith!" She called out in triumph. Then in a lowered voice she spoke. "Our task here is done. Now what is your decision regarding the treaty Mi'lord?"

Krill played different scenarios in his mind, but he decided the best way to bring down his enemies was from the inside. ” this corpse made me realize something before we left port. To bring down our foes from the inside is the best way to go, but not after 30 years. We will gather our strength, build ranks, let them feel like we are friends, we shall use mercs, bounty Hunters, fallen Jedi, planetary rulers to carry out our secret missions all the while keeping our new friends in the dark. today is a new day my friend. We take our first step in bringing the galaxy to it's knees before the new united sith empire.”

[Supreme Prophet Migneau]

" I believe Emperor Krill that is the right way to go. Let us hold our enemies close....until we can conquer them. Then shall all bow before the Sith Empire and its Emperor! Shall we today then sign the treaty then begin the campaign to overthrow the galactic leadership?"

She looked down at the old Emperor lying dead on the ground. "Once he stood among the mighty and his fall is grievious. But he became weak and Sith must be strong like you. Still he should be buried or his body burned upon a pyre. Then we should go, the conference awaits you. Shall I accompany you or take care of the body, then either return home or follow you? What my liege is your will?"

Krill looked at the former emperor as well. ” we shall all burn him, he was a great man before the temptation of greed and wealth over took him and he looked past what was important for the sith, but while he Burns we shall leave, it will symbolize our leaving him forgotten and in the past. We shall all proceed to the treaty signing, I have no doubt they are trying to figure out what happened to us. Our cover story would be that while enroute the emperor plotted to kill the members of the treaty, but we saw to it that to avoid the destruction of us all, I over threw him, and here to sign the treaty” krill then motioned for the training guards to pick up the body and place him in a clearing for his funeral.

[Supreme Prophet Migneau]

The Supreme Prophet nodded at Krill's words. "I believe what you say is wise. The assassins should leave but I will accompany you with the Royal Guard to the Treaty signing. Let us send the Emperor's Force Aura into the ether and proceed on our way."

She nodded at the guards and the assassins who swiftly began to assemble a pyre of branches and forest dead fall.

The former emperor was placed on top, krill ignited a branch. ” even though you lost your way master, you was once a powerful warrior, that deserves such respect” krill then lights the pyre. ” this is however where it ends.” Krill then used force lighting feeding the flames higher, causing the emperor to burn faster, the flames shooting high into the sky. ” let us proceed, he is to be forgotten just as fast as his body burned. Board the ship my friends, time to go make nice.” Krill then boarded the dragons claw, successfully repairing the system failure he caused to make them land. ” pilot set course for the compound. it should only take us about 10 minutes to get there.” The dragons claw lifts off smoke filled the air as they left the former emperor burning.

[Supreme Prophet Migneau]

The Supreme Prophet nodded at the assassins who would fly the Tiger's Talon back to the Empire while she proceeded onward to the treaty signing. She spoke quickly to Trezzamin. "Take good care of my ship. I will see all of you upon our return. You have served the Empire well."

The three assassins nodded and headed off to locate their speeders and head back to the ship. Elliandre Jadzia Migneau watched them go then sighed. It is done, now the future begins. A wiser and stronger future awaits.

She entered the Dragon's Claw and took her seat. The ship took off heading for the Alliance's enclave and the Treaty signing.

Serean was going over some scanner readings when a blip come over the screen. Serean tapped a few buttons to bring up a real time view. Serean let out a sigh of relief. Then came an incoming transmission. ” this is the sith imperial ship the dragons claw. requesting to land at landing pad 34 bravo” serean flipped a switch. ” permission granted please extend our pleasantries to the emperor.” The pilot of the dragons claw responded. ” he has been monitoring he thanks you for your hospitality.” Serean flipped off the com to the ship, then removed his own com link. ” master the emperors ship has arrived and is enroute to the landing pad.” and was already enroute to meet his master.

Krill smiled as he looked at his new followers. ” remember we are on a mission of peace. Anyone that fails to follow my command will die by my hand.” The ship lowered more and more. He could see several people walking to the landing pad. Krill along with elliandre and his new royal guard stood by the exit ramp add the dragons claw finally touched down with a loud thud and hiss from the engines powering down.

Elliandre smiled slightly at Krill. Of course no one would disobey him. He was the new Emperor and she would become his right hand, the terror of the Empire. Enforcing his reign.

She looked as they walked down the ship's gangway. In the distance she could see a group gathering to meet them. There in the front was the Jedi Grandmaster Jolie Zindargo. She is young but powerful in the Force and bears watching.

She strolled beside the new Emperor. She would follow his lead as to what had happened to the old Emperor.

[Jolie Zindargo]

As Jolie waited in the Conference Room she finished her tea. Shadow Admiral Kerberos was on the other side of the room conferring with an aide. Then her Commlink buzzed and Serean's voice came over it. It seemed the Emperor had arrived. She answered him. "We shall meet them at the hangar bay. Come back to the Conference Room and accompany me." Serean answered in the affirmative and she closed the link, before turning to the Shadow Admiral.

"It seems Admiral Kerberos that the Emperor has arrived. The Jedi will be meeting him at the hangar bay. Would you like to join us?"

[Shadow Admiral Kerberos]

Kerberos was speking with his aide when the Jedi Grand Master told him the Emperor had finally made it. He looked up at her.

"Better late than never. Yes, we will come with you to meet him." He stood and folloed her out of the room. Shepard had returned and the group headed to meet the Emperor.

The entire group arrived at the landing pad. The ramp was fully extended by now then with another hiss and mechanical gears turned, the old the powerful and fast shuttle doors opened. Royal guards exited first not saying a word to anyone they took their places just past the ramp and facing each other. Next was elliandre followed by krill with his hood raised covering his masked face, letting people assume he was the former emperor. Even though he was a sith, and now emperor krill doeslike a good joke, as long as he's the one making the joke. As people tried to see his face, krill then stopped in his place and removed his lightsaber from his belt. Everyone looked on edge and very tense. Krill saw several looks of worry among a few people, krill then handed his lightsaber to a royal guard who retreated back into the shuttle. Light sighs exited a few mouths and krill really smiled. Then he figured he played with them long enough.

Krill finally removed the cowl covering his metal mask. ” greetings Jedi, jensarrai such an honor to meet you. I am emperor krill. The new sith master and official representative of the sith order.” Krill then extends his right hand waiting for the first person to shake it.

Elliandre hid a smile. All the way back to their training day together Krill had been one to enjoy a good joke....as long as it wasn't on him. He had always been up to pulling them on everyone.

Now might seem a strange time for jokes, but he had indeed made his point. He was the new Emperor and very much in charge. She too unclipped her lightsaber and handed it to a Guardsman.

She nodded and spoke her conversation directed to the two other Alliance leaders. "Good Day Grand Admiral Kerberos and Grandmaster Zindargo. As you can see it is a new day in the Sith Empire. We have come to honor the commitments which have been made. Let us proceed if we may."

[Jolie Zindargo]

Jolie Zindargo was a bit stunned by the developments but contained herself. Changes of power among the Sith were not uncommon, but Lucifer had seemed very much in control of his Empire and subordinates. Apparently that had not been so.

She eyed the Supreme Prophet warily as the Church's representative spoke. This one is far too ambitious and I would bet on it that those ambitions go far outside of Sith space. She will need to be under constant surveillance from now on. The Grandmaster channeled those thoughts to Serean Shepard.

Keeping a serene face she spoke carefully. They could not push too hard as to what had happened to the Old Emperor "Though I am admittedly surprised at these developments let us go forward. That is if you have the same intentions as Emperor Lucifer to sign and maintain a treaty of peace and mutual wellbeing. Which I believe you do of course."

She looked towards the Grand Admiral of the Jensaarai for his reaction. Chancellor Erebos who was considered the Steward of the Alliance and maintained the facility on Endor as a neutral party looked stunned.

[Shadow Admiral Kerberos]

Kerberos groled under his breath. What the hell were these Darksiders up to? Why were the Jedi so calm about it? Damn the Emperor was dead.

I'd like to know what hapened to Lucifer. We've always delt with him. Who are you?

The Shaedow Admiral looked at the Sith suspicioucly.

Krill saw the look of disgust on the shadow warriors face. Lucifer was my master. I was his apprentice many years ago. I worked my way up to become his second in command of the sith forces. However I have been away finding myself. One I returned he told me of the treaty. I thought it is a good idea after the losses we took during the invasion. Lucifer however had other plans. He sought to bring down the alliance from with in and destroy you all. I felt that it wasn't in the best interest of the empire so I challenged him. Needless to say he lost. But I sure you the treaty will proceed as planned unless you wish to continue hostiles at which point we will all be destroyed. I have handed over my weapon, to show my commitment to this. Now the question I pose to you is how would you like to proceed.” Krill waited as they all made up their minds.

[Jolie Zindargo]

Jolie listened as Krill spoke. She knew the Alliance Treaty had to go forward. She knew little of Krill but what did one need to know about a Sith rather than that you treated them all with caution?

She weighed her words carefully. "The Jedi will go forward with the treaty signing. That Lucifer meant to betray us is grievious indeed. There has been enough betrayal. It is time to rebuild. So let us form our alliance and go forward."

Krill nodded his head toward the grandmaster. ”you honor me with your decision. Let us proceed then.” Krill motions that they move along. Not trying to seem rude but krill has a sith empire and it's people to inform of all the changes. They enter an elevator within the complex and shoots up like a rocket. ”I know these turn of events are hard for everyone, they are for me as well. I didn't want to slay my master but he fell away from the ways of the sith years ago only to be consumed by greed. His death was not even a true warriors death.” Krill spoke aloud not to just a single person but to everyone in the elevator.

[Jolie Zindargo]

Jolie raised her eyebrow a bit at Krill's words but said nothing. The elevator stopped at the Conference Room and they all exited, the Chancellor leading the way. He stood at the podium while the rest took seats at a round table. This of course made it so no leader sat at the head, they were all equals. Serean held the Grandmaster's chair and she smiled thanking him. He took the seat to her right. The Jensaarai Grand Admiral sat at her left, his aide sitting beside him. The new Emperor Krill and his contingent also took their seats.

The Chancellor spoke, his words clipped and smooth. "This is a great day for the Alliance. Today we sign a treaty to bring peace and mutual understanding to the galaxy's most powerful factions. Together we can go forth to rebuild and renew what was lost in the War. Let us establish ties which bind us to the promise of a better tomorrow for all. This treaty shall be our guiding document. I commend you all for your courage. The courage to reach out in friendship rather than making war. May the Alliance last into the ages yet to come."

His eloquent words were followed by the passing out of datapads to each faction leader by the Chancellor's assistant. Tradition decreed that the treaty also be signed on parchment documents which were set upon the table. Jolie perused her datapad and saw that all was in order. The Grandmaster handed it to Serean so he could read it as well. She waited for the others to do so.
